All students get that boost of motivation that comes with starting a brand new year. While most will let this wither and die as the year goes on, final year students need to grab it with both hands and run with it for as long as possible. Students will need to figure out their strengths, set goals, look at their post-school options. And, of course, there should always be a Plan B if it all goes sideways.
This may seem like a lot of work to do before the hard part of studying actually starts, but it will actually be worth it. Knowing and understanding where a student wants to end up, means they won’t become completely aimless and ready to give up by the time of their first exam.
